Infantes understands the creative process as a language or a vehicle of experimentation, as a method of investigation and acquisition of knowledge, all of this based on the freedom to create. He is interested in traveling towards our inner selves, towards what we are: thought, emotion, feeling, memory... ​Moreover, he is attracted by our ability to generate intelligence, sensations, recollections…
Infantes investigates the concept of memory and its power to build and shape our identities as human beings. "Perhaps we are what we remember. The recollections make us who we are". He says.
Resin in his paintings works as a transparent liquid container, as a storage for memories, feelings, emotions, thoughts, so that they can remain unchangeable in time.
